NT Concepts, a leading provider of business and technology solutions for the intelligence and national security communities, is looking for an Web UX/UI Researcher to join our on-site team in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO supporting a critical Intelligence Community client. 


The Web UX/UI Researcher will work closely with a highly-skilled team of UX designers and front-end developers to modernize legacy UIs and create rich user experiences (websites, dashboards, apps) to support the GEOINT mission. 


We are looking for a team player who can champion the end user and their needs—one who can use vision, expertise, and solid research findings to help create an intuitive, cohesive, and seamless user experience across all GEOINT products. Your skillsets include the ability to:

  •  Work with various stakeholders to understand business needs and to craft UX research solutions
  • Define the UX strategy and drive the overall design solution business goals, product requirements, user testing, and   design thinking 
  • Conduct heuristic evaluations and website usability testing enable the build out of respective web designs to enhance the user's experience
  • Conduct independent research on multiple aspects of how users experience GEOINT services
  • Conduct usability tests to assess user characteristics, requirements, needs, goals, and opportunities, and make recommendations to improve design and functionality
  • Collect and analyze user behavior through server logs, online experiments (A/B testing), benchmark studies, lab studies, and surveys
  • Design user-centered test plans across the design cycle (from concept phase to post-release evaluations)
  • Digest analytics and communicate research findings via written reports and oral presentations
  • Create and deliver educational and informational briefs
  • Adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment; prioritize and multi-task across numerous work streams
  • Actively participate in and contribute to daily Scrums


Your qualifications must include:

  • An active TS clearance (This is a deal breaker. Due to the nature of the work, candidates without an active TS you will not be considered for this position) we will sponsor your TS/SCI- a requirement for successful employment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, or a related field (Graphic Design, Interaction Design)
  • 1-5 years of experience providing user research insights to improve applications

Salary is commensurate with experience. Signing bonus available.
