Software Developer-TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph

 

NT Concepts is seeking a Software Developer to deliver high quality code on key programs for an intelligence community customer, often using using agile methods and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). These programs represent a major evolution in the missions of our clients in the Northern Virginia area.

 

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Works from specifications and/or user stories to develop or modify moderately complex software applications including design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation of software applications.
    • Test, develop and maintain unique software modules
    • Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software
    • Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications
    • Configure applications according to design specifications
    • Participate in peer reviews of code written by other developers
    • Participate in development of software user manuals
    • Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements
    • Assist in researching, testing, building, and coordinating the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements
    • Assist in the design and development of new software products or major enhancements to existing software
    • Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools
    • Assist in resolving problems with software and responding to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
    • Assist in documentation, validation and testing of technical requirements
    • Assist in preparing estimates for implementing new system enhancements
  • May work in 7-9-person scrum teams consisting of software developers, business analysts, product owners and other subject matter experts within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Qualifications

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Technical discipline or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of related experience, either during school or after graduating
  • Experience in one or more programming languages and technologies, such as
    • Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax).
    • .Net programming (ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, MS Visual Studio)
  • Good understanding of database concepts.
  • TS/SCI Clearance or ability to obtain

Desired:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
  • Experience with agile development, scrum teams
  • Experience with development and deployment into cloud environments
  • Previous direct customer experience in the intelligence community
