Overview

NT Concepts is seeking a Case Screening Technician. This will be in a position of trust, a role that requires integrity, confidentiality, intensity, commitment and pride in our country’s security matters. The primary responsibility of the Case Screening Technician is to ensure case material is complete, accurate, and scheduled in accordance with contractual requirements. The ultimate goal is customer satisfaction achieved through timeliness, meeting or exceeding customer and internal standards, and effective in identifying relevant issues.    

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:

  • Review case material from agencies to ensure all information is accurate and complete according to case entry guidelines.
  • Data enter information as needed and ensure completeness and accuracy in multiple systems.
  • Ability to learn and comprehend all background investigation case types and adapt to changes in case entry guidelines.
  • Communicate with federal government officials to acquire missing data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process and handle case material receipts to include matching the receipts with the appropriate case and tracking unassigned pieces.
  • Participate in special projects at the request of either NTC management or customer agency.
  • Maintain minimum quality levels in case screening functions.
  • Operate independently utilizing provided guidelines and instructions.
  • Cooperate within a team-oriented environment.
  • Reliability, dependability and adherence to established schedules/shifts. **VERY IMPORTANT**
  • Analyze material and ensure it meets case coverage requirements.
  • Must be able to verify material accuracy in multiple formats.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements/Clearance

  • A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.
  • May be required to perform duties beyond standard business hours.
  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
  • Employment contingent upon successful completion of background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend and move about the office and remote facilities.  Travel to customer and other sites required.

 

 

Skills/Qualifications

  • Ability to type 40 words per minute.
  • Ability to file numerically and by name at 80% accuracy.
  • Position requires proficiency with computers and working knowledge of office equipment.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Moderate lifting.

Education/Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Work Environment/Travel

 

Work is typically performed in an office setting with 25%-30% local and multi-state travel.
