  • Overview

    IT Helpdesk Technician (Basic/Entry) providing a full range of help desk and call center support services to maintain IT systems and maximize customer satisfaction.  Customer is a government agency with a world-wide IT infrastructure and a critical global mission. 


    Provide desk-side customer service support including: 

    • Managing and implementing moves
    • Troubleshooting hardware/software problems for staff workstations (desktop and laptop)
    • Installing/Managing peripherals, printers, and scanners
    • Testing and deploying standard and non-standard software and hardware
    • Managing work orders
    • Stakeholder Management


    Experience with the following technology:

    • Lenovo customer equipment

    • MS Windows 7 or 10

    • MS Office 2010 or higher

    • Standalone, networked and Multi-Functional Device printers

    • Cisco telephones

    • Smartphones (iPhone and Android)

    • Remote access technology including: DirectAccess, VMWare, VPN, etc.

    • AirWatch or equivalent mobile device management System Center

    Able to pass a Public Trust-level background check, no security clearance required.
