    Team Lead -Pre Review Department 

    NT Concepts is seeking a Team Leader for our Boyers, PA office location. This essential role will ensure that the NT Concepts’ strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the program’s strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services. This position will lead the team in: identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established work flow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.

    Responsibilities

    Duties and responsibilities to include, but not limited to the following: 

     

             Articulate and communicate team assignments, projects, and assist with problem resolution

             Coach the team in the selection and application of appropriate problem solving methods and techniques

             Provide guidance on work methods, practices and procedures 

             Assist the team and/or individual members in identifying the parameters of a viable solution

             Make adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned team tasks; and ensuring that each employee has an integral role in developing the final team product

             Monitor and report on the status and progress of work, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work to see that the supervisor’s instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines and quality have been met

             Serve as coach, facilitator and/or negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and team building activities  

             Maintain program and administrative reference materials, project files and relevant background documents 

             Prepare reports and maintain records of work accomplishments and administrative information, as required, and coordinate the preparation, presentation and communication of work-related information to the supervisor

             Represent the team in dealings with the supervisor or manager for the purpose of obtaining resources (e.g., computer hardware, training and software, etc.), and securing needed information or decisions from the supervisor

             Estimate and report to the team on progress in meeting established milestones and deadlines for completion of assignments, projects and tasks, and ensure that all team members are aware of and participate in achievement of team goals and objectives  

             Lead the team in assessing strengths and weaknesses and provide leadership to the team in exploring alternatives and determining what improvements can be made   

             Work with the supervisor on behalf of the team to inform the supervisor of performance management issues/problems and to recommend/request related actions, such as: assignments, training, promotions, duty changes, peer reviews and performance appraisals

     

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience Requirements: 

            Must currently have 6 months experience on the NBIB contract or 12 months of previous experience on the NBIB contract

             Prefer a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in investigative records or similar role performing administrative support services in an office environment  

             Previous experience leading a team or working with diverse individuals/personalities is a plus 

             This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to listen

             Excellent interpersonal skills and a client-focused demeanor are required

             Ability to plan, organize, and complete multiple assignments with minimal supervision is essential

             Must be flexible to work an adjusted schedule including overtime

             Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government security clearance

             Due to contract requirements, this position requires US Citizenship

             Position is contingent upon satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screen and background check
